Sooke National Rainforest near Victoria, Canada was our first zip lining experience. I was impressed with the lush and “tropical” feel of this rainforest. It seemed like being in a jungle of a tropical location rather than a Canadian rainforest. I wasn’t going to zip line but my family talked me into it and I’m so glad they did!! For an acrophobic, claustrophobic person like me, I did have to overcome some trepidation about various parts of the adventure—but it was WELL WORTH IT!
There was one line called “The Screamer” to which my 7 year old son gladly screamed through the whole “ride.” I’ll be uploading a video of my son on the Screamer eventually on this site. The whole experience lasted 2 hours and it was a good bonding experience for our family as we later discussed all of our different emotions and sensations completing it. www.adrenalinezip.com/zipline-tours/
